This holiday season is perfect for making a statement and taking beauty risks. While the trusty smoky eye may seem appropriate for your holiday parties, opt for a more understated eye look and put on your favorite bright lipstick, that is sure to pair perfectly with a little black cocktail dress. I put together a little guide to festive bold lips that are sure to make a statement. Leave your eyes more natural for a more modern look, or pair with a light winged liner and faux lashes for a more classic, retro-inspired look (think Marilyn Monroe). For a more edgy bold lip, try a beautiful fuschia lip color. One of my favorites is NARS Sciap.
